Help for HAITI!!

Our community of character does not end in Ottawa. Since we have launched our
HELP HAITI campaign students and staff have been working together to raise
money for our global community and help those who continue to suffer from the
Earthquakes in Haiti.

The 2009-10 edition of The BARK is now available for pre-order.

Yearbook season is quickly approaching! Early bird yearbook order forms go home March 1st. Bring your form back to school anytime between MARCH 8th and MARCH 12th to pre-order your 2009-2010 version of DRK's yearbook The BARK. Early bird pricing is $13.00. Yearbooks will be on sale in May but the price will jump up to $15.00 at that time. Get your yearbook now and save. 

Yearbook staff will be taking your order forms and money the week of March 8th outside the main office at both nutrition breaks.

Babysitting & People Saver Courses with the Red Cross

Consider taking the following available courses during the upcoming PD days, March Break,
or on a weekend. 
The Babysitting Course covers the responsibilities of a babysitter, safety tips for children of
all ages, basic child care skills and what to do in case of an emergency ($65.00)

All Babysitter courses run 8:30 – 4:30 at Red Cross, 340 Catherine St

People Savers
A 4-level program developed by the Canadian Red Cross to teach safety awareness and first
aid skills to elementary school-aged children.
