Supporting a Family in Need

The family of one of our students lost their mother on the evening of March 17th after a brave battle with cancer. She leaves behind four loving sons, two attending university, one at D. Roy and one attending Churchill Alternative P.S. She was also an Educational Assistant at Churchill.

A fund for her boys has been set up to ensure that they are able to remain in our community. To make a contribution please see below for donation links.

Primary Playground Renewal
 
The play structure in the primary yard needs to be replaced soon. DRK School Council has already donated $6,000 towards a new structure.  

Are you interested in what the new structure could look like? Do you have ideas for other improvements to the primary yard? See our presentation to School Council for more information on the initiative.

Today's Select Respect Assembly was packed with amazing student presentations and performances. To end the morning some of our Grade 7 & 8 classes challenged the school to move beyond words and to take action.

Requests about daycare should be addressed to Whitehaven Kindergarten School Age
Centre at (613) 759-8364. Also, there is a before and after school activities program on
