Reminder: Our new school hours, effective Sep 8, 2015 are from 9:15 am to 3:45 am. Please do not drop off students to school before 9:00 am, when supervision starts, and be sure to pick up by 4:00 pm when supervision ends.

As schedules frequently change, students should confirm with their coach or activity leader the date and time of the next practice/activity and listen to the daily announcements.
D. Roy Kennedy Extended Day Program (EDP)
D. Roy Kennedy's Extended Day Program (EDP) is operated through the Whitehaven Kindergarten School Age Centre (Licensed Child Care Centre since 1984). They are located at D. Roy Kennedy Public School and currently have spaces available in their before and after school age programs, NEW Preschool Program (2.5yrs.-4 yrs.) and in their Preschool - Kindergarten Readiness Program - (9:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - daily). Carefully designed early learning environment with stimulating play materials and age appropriate activities. Children are offered a wide variety of activities and experiences by Registered Early Childhood Educators. For more information contact - Jayne Gauthier at 613-759-8364
Whitehaven Kindergarten School Age Centre (September 2015-December 2015)
Extended Day Learning Fees – Before and After Care – D.R.K. Public School
Kindergarten (Jr. & Sr.) - $525.00/month
School Age (Grades 1-6) - $359.00/month
**** The fees are a blended rate and take into account all of the costs associated with
PD Days, Christmas Break, March Break and Summer Holidays.
There is no rebate of fees for sick days, holidays, or school closure.
**** Notice of one month must be given for withdrawal from the Centre.
We also offer a Preschool Program – (2.5 yrs.-4 yrs.) - $925.00/month/(Full-time)
Preschool-Kindergarten Readiness Program (Part-time)
9:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - $15.00 / $20.00 (includes a lunch)
